- Rather pasive. Only attack humans when trapped.
- Food Source
- They are canrivours. They eat insects and wait for the food to come to them. Females always stay in web unless it is destroyed. Males search for females to reproduce.
- Bite
- Male black widows have no poison. Females poison can be lethal to small children, the seick, and elderly.
The male atracts the female by plucking at her web. After reproduction the female may eat the male(hence the "widow"). Female lays eggs in a cocoon which contains 250 to 750 eggs.
